Just a Trend

Today in magazines all you see are trends.
Each week one starts and one ends.
Why must people follow what they see,
in movies or on tv?
It’s not who we are.
Why can’t they see...

It’s just a trend,
cool of a week
wear that this weekend
and they’ll call you a freak!
It might be in Teen People or Vanity Fair
but it isn’t what you have to wear.

So return that dress and those jeans.
Buy something for normal teens.
Don’t suck in your waist or hurt your feet
for something others think is “neat.”
Wear what you like,
buy what is you,
it doesn’t matter what others do.

It’s just a trend,
cool of a week
wear that this weekend
and they’ll call you a freak!
It might be in Teen People or Vanity Fair
but it isn’t what you have to wear.

Who cares if it’s the colour of the year?
If you like it don’t have fear.
Wear those jeans that fit you right,
they should not have to be super tight.
Wear what is your own style.
Because the number one rule to being chic
...is being unique!

It’s just a trend,
cool of a week
wear that this weekend
and they’ll call you a freak!
It might be in Teen People or Vanity Fair
but it isn’t what you have to wear.
It’s not what you have to wear.
Who cares if people stare?
...plz don't mock 'em
(meh this one is more lik a song)
strange

you’ve changed
grown strange
we used to be so close
you were one of the people I talked to the most
all you say is that I’ve changed
but I’m pretty sure it was you
the way you talk, the way you act
everything you do
so that’s it I can’t talk to you anymore
I’ve opened a door
thrown away that key
now you’re nothin but a memory
